PLAN 350 students used qualitative methods (field observation and semi-structured interviews) to explore why students, staff and faculty are (or aren't) recycling and composting on the UW main campus. Below are three examples of research dissemination videos produced for class.
PLAN 102, Fall 2014
In Fall 2014, my PLAN 102 students competing for the Jack Rosen Memorial Award in Environmental Innovation. This is an annual competition within the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo. Four groups from our class were short-listed to 'pitch' their idea to a panel of judges. Two groups won honourable mentions in the competition.
